Seismic Base Isolation

Description

A 3D printed seismic linear sliding base isolator for a high school engineering class. The building underwent simulated seismic activity via a sinusoidal moving table before and after the isolation system was implemented. The building saw a significant decrease in acceleration with the isolator.
